Introduction: Hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia (HH) is the most common cause of severe and persistent hypoglycaemia in neonates. The treatment of diazoxide unresponsive HH involves pancreatectomy. Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is a protein kinase that regulates cellular proliferation.
